Senior DevOps Engineer
Senior DevOps Engineer – Observability & Platform Infrastructure
About the DV Group
Founded 20 years ago and headquartered in Chicago, the DV Group of financial services firms has grown to 600+ people, operating across North America, Europe, and Asia. Since spinning out from a large brokerage in 2016, DV Trading has scaled independently as a proprietary trading firm, providing liquidity to global markets and hedging solutions for commodity producers.
The group now includes:
- Two broker dealers
- A cryptocurrency market-making firm
- A bourgeoning investment adviser
Overview
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a small, high-impact team that operates the infrastructure powering DV’s trading systems.
This is a greenfield role built from scratch in 2025—you’ll have full ownership of a platform that scales and evolves daily.
- Ownership, not tickets – No queue management; just real impact on infrastructure trading teams depend on. - Modern scale – Kubernetes at scale, GitOps, CI/CD, and full observability—all on-prem and optimized for trading speed/reliability. - End-to-end impact – Your work directly affects P&L-critical systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
