[Senior Platform Engineer] (Permanent, Hybrid – Leeds Office)

We’re seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with AWS expertise to design, build, and maintain modern cloud platforms—collaborating with engineers and clients to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery across diverse projects.


Responsibilities

  • Design and operate AWS-based platforms
  • Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform
  • Create and maintain comprehensive CI/CD pipelines
  • Support and optimise live production systems
  • Engage in pairing/mobbing for knowledge sharing
  • Mentor engineers and champion best practices

Requirements

What You'll Deliver ✅ A resilient AWS architecture ✅ Automated infrastructure deployments ✅ Streamlined CI/CD workflows ✅ Reliable and scalable infrastructure support ✅ Fostering a culture of collaboration and learning

What You'll Bring

  • Strong AWS experience (estimated 3-5 years preferred)
  • Infrastructure-as-code proficiency (Terraform or equivalent)
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Coding/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, Node.js, C#, or Java)
  • Strong Git and source control knowledge
  • Agile delivery experience with live systems support
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Clear communication and collaborative mindset

  • Hands-on NoSQL experience (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
