[Senior Platform Engineer] (Permanent, Hybrid – Leeds Office)

We’re seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with AWS expertise to design, build, and maintain modern cloud platforms—collaborating with engineers and clients to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery across diverse projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate AWS-based platforms
- Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform
- Create and maintain comprehensive CI/CD pipelines
- Support and optimise live production systems
- Engage in pairing/mobbing for knowledge sharing
- Mentor engineers and champion best practices

Requirements
What You'll Deliver ✅ A resilient AWS architecture ✅ Automated infrastructure deployments ✅ Streamlined CI/CD workflows ✅ Reliable and scalable infrastructure support ✅ Fostering a culture of collaboration and learning
What You'll Bring
- Strong AWS experience (estimated 3-5 years preferred)
- Infrastructure-as-code proficiency (Terraform or equivalent)
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Coding/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, Node.js, C#, or Java)
- Strong Git and source control knowledge
- Agile delivery experience with live systems support
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Clear communication and collaborative mindset

Nice to Have
- Hands-on NoSQL experience (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Background in consulting, public sector, Retail, or Financial Services
