Are you wanting to feel valued and supported in one of the biggest acute teaching hospitals in the UK, working in a large service committed to professional and personal development with clearly defined career pathways.

This exciting opportunity has arisen to provide nutritional care to a new community rehabilitation facility, just 1.6 miles from Leicester Royal Infirmary. This unit supports the government's shift from acute to community as part of the NHS 10 year plan.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care, including assessment and treatment planning for those needing rehabilitation, reablement and recovery. The role also involves training staff, developing resources, helping evaluate the service, and working with the Preston Lodge team to provide high-quality care before patients are discharged from UHL.

You will be expected to work in creative and highly innovative ways to champion and accelerate our Rehabilitation, Reablement and Recovery (RRR) model, empowering individuals to regain independence, build confidence and achieve meaningful, lasting change.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
