Job Description

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful and growing digital trading team working on established digital websites. Passionate about digital trading, this is a chance for someone who wants to develop and own digital trading strategy as well as the day-to-day trading and analysis of our websites. Joining at a period of high performance and significant investment into digital, this is an amazing opportunity for someone to coordinate and plan the trading execution and contribute to the growth and performance of the Frasers Group Digital Team.

Reporting into the Digital Activation Lead, you will be responsible for driving sales through successful execution of campaign, brand and promotional plans. You will coordinate the delivery of trading actions that drive sales, conversion and key digital KPIs. You will be a systems and tooling expert, ensuring they are used effectively to support trading performance and the successful execution of day-to-day and weekly trading priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for managing the day to day execution of a website, under the guidance of the Trading Manager and the Digital Activation Lead
  • Manage reporting of daily/weekly/monthly/annual trade, providing detailed analysis of key business drivers and actionable recommendations to ensure sales and contribution targets are met
  • Oversee and report on the weekly content for site changes, campaigns, promotions and brand partner updates.
  • End-to-end management of all critical paths for campaign and promotional activity, ensuring timely delivery and execution of upcoming activities
  • Ensure clear communication of product priorities and campaign activity to Digital Marketing and Optimisation teams.
  • Serve as super-user for all Digital Trading tooling, championing best practice, supporting team adoption, and providing feedback to support ongoing platform improvement
  • Coordinate cross-functional trading initiatives and projects, ensuring successful delivery against business objectives and timelines. Collaborate with key stakeholders to coordinate development and execution of evergreen and seasonal content requirements to drive SEO, customer engagement and conversion.
  • Manage process of improving product content and attribution, working with teams to resolve issues quickly and optimise sales performance
  • Monitor website performance, customer behaviour and competitor activity, identifying opportunities and actions to improve trading performance, conversion and customer experience.
  • Line manage 1 or more Digital Activation Specialists, mentoring and facilitating their growth across both commercial acumen and operational capability
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and extensive people management skills
  • Set clear objectives, goals and development plans
  • Build an effective and motivated team, to work as more than a collection of individuals
  • Be an active and positive contributor to the team, contributing to the overall digital strategy
  • Represent the Digital Trading Team across the wider business, ensuring digital KPIs are understood and achievable for all

Qualifications:

  • Valid working rights for the UK
  • Analytical with strong reporting skills, advanced Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel user
  • Experience in management of Trading Assistants
  • Experience working within e-commerce platforms
  • Experience driving both day-to-day improvements that contribute to sales growth
  • Independent, self-motivated, and proactive
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar digital role in a retail or consumer brand
