Senior Digital Creative
About The Role
Our client is growing their creative team and are seeking a Senior Digital Creative who possesses the same sharp thinking as they do in design.
This role will report directly to the Creative Director and be responsible for leading the digital creative output, defining the standards for how we think and execute across every digital touchpoint.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading digital creative output for brand and campaign projects, covering both large-scale, international clients and smaller projects across all digital channels
- Developing brand and campaign strategy at a plusminus strategic level, shaping creative direction rather than solely executing ideas
- Collaborating closely with the Digital Marketing team to ensure digital creative delivers impact as well as performance
- Working hand-in-hand with our Development team, providing precise UI/UX handoffs for flawless implementation
- Building scalable design systems with variables mindset, components, tokens, and theming for seamless branding across complex brand ecosystems
- Actively using AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate creative processes in meaningful ways
- Presenting ideas with confidence and clarity to clients and stakeholders at all levels
- Influencing and shaping how h2o approaches digital creativity as the studio grows, extending beyond individual projects

Skills & Experience
- At least 5+ years of digital creative experience, preferably in an agency setting, preferably working with Enterprise and SME brands
- A portfolio showcasing range, brand thinking, campaign-level concepts, and polished executions in digital media
- Proficiency in Figma, including design systems, component libraries, and variables for theming and development handoff
- Strong familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Open to experimenting with non-traditional tools such as Canva or Affinity Designer when necessary for great results
- Real-world application of AI tools to push creative work further
- A solid grasp of component-based and token-driven design methods, understanding how decisions scale
- Experience with motion design and video creation—capable of concepting and producing engaging, high-impact content

Niceties (Nice to Haves)
- Experience on large brand or enterprise projects with an international scope
- Passion or expertise in the automotive sector
- Familiarity with front-end development basics, handy for understanding how design impacts code implementation
- Firsthand experience in building a design system from scratch, not just maintaining an existing one
- Knowledge of digital accessibility standards and their practical applications
- Experience with prototyping and presenting creative concepts interactively
