About Us

The Fundamental Group started out as a media agency, specialising in clients within the Asset Management and Higher Education sectors. Our vision was to become a leading specialist, and we have achieved this through a combination of contemporary and innovative technologies. This includes our in-house proprietary performance marketing technologies and reporting platforms, in-house programmatic solutions, research team and most importantly our people, each with expert sector knowledge.

Over the past 20 years, we have grown into a marketing technology group which numbers over 170 people globally. With a strategic presence across the globe, our offices span key locations including London, Boston, Hong Kong and Sydney.

Role Overview

We're looking for a talented and versatile Senior Digital Designer to join our creative team. You'll be designing compelling display advertising campaigns, bringing motion and life to brand stories, and building polished HTML5 ad experiences that perform as well as they look.

This is a role for someone who gets excited by animation timelines as much as layout grids, and who's always curious about what the web can do next.

What We're Looking For

  • Solid hands-on experience designing and producing display ad campaigns across standard and rich media formats
  • An understanding of how ads are trafficked and what that means for your design decisions
  • Familiarity with IAB standards and platform-specific requirements (Google Display Network, programmatic advertising, etc.)
  • Experience building HTML5 ad creatives in Google Web Designer, comfortable with its timeline, events, and component tools
  • Some working knowledge of HTML and CSS, enough to understand and tweak ad builds
  • JavaScript experience is a plus, but genuine enthusiasm to learn is just as valued - you don't need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable in the browser
  • Proficiency in Figma for design concepting, layout, and collaborating with the wider team
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Familiarity with preparing artwork for print production, whether that's press-ready files, brand collateral, or campaign materials
  • UX/UI design experience, with an ability to think beyond aesthetics and consider the full user journey to drive conversion
  • Experience integrating AI tools into your creative workflow, and an openness to exploring new ones as they emerge
  • Fast-moving, commercially minded, able to work proactively, independently and adapt quickly to shifting briefs and priorities
  • Highly attentive to detail ensuring all work is delivered on high standards

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
