Joining this Leeds design studio built around senior, hand-picked project teams
- This is the kind of setup where a brand, a product feature or a landing page can go from concept to live in a matter of weeks.
The studio was founded in early 2024 and is still close to the ground floor, so the work you do now shapes what the practice becomes. Its portfolio already spans ambitious startups and scaleups, including projects delivered for globally recognised names in the tech and education spaces.
The Role
You'll lead UI design across the full lifecycle, from first concept through to a finished, technically sound product. That means taking a client's problem and owning the answer: the interface, the design system, the rules that hold it together. Not decorating a brief someone else defined, but solving it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The studio's focus is craft and clarity, and this role exists to hold that bar and raise it. You'll build design systems from scratch, work across brand and interface as one, and set the standard other work is measured against. There's room to experiment - to bring illustration, motion, 3D and reactive assets into the work where they earn their place.
