We’re looking for a Talented Senior Digital Marketing Specialist - SEO & GEO to join our team at our Head Office and play a key role in strengthening our organic and generative search performance.
This role will shape and deliver our SEO and GEO strategy, helping to increase visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI‑driven platforms.
Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll use your technical expertise, analytical mindset and creative problem‑solving skills to drive commercial growth and ensure customers can easily discover and engage with The Perfume Shop.
What you’ll do
Lead and deliver SEO and GEO strategy across website and app Conduct technical SEO audits and prioritise improvements across crawlability, indexing, site structure and performance Partner with development teams to implement and test technical changes, including Core Web Vitals improvements Optimise content and data for generative engines and AI‑powered search using structured data and entity‑based optimisation Lead keyword, topic and competitor research across traditional and generative search Collaborate with content, marketing and PR teams to optimise on‑page SEO and build high‑quality backlinks Monitor and optimise brand visibility across AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Copilot Analyse performance using tools such as GA4, GSC, Ahrefs and Looker Studio, delivering clear insights and recommendations Stay ahead of algorithm updates, AI trends and emerging search opportunities Share knowledge and upskill teams across Marketing and the wider Online Business

What you’ll bring
Proven experience managing SEO and/or GEO in an agency or in‑house B2C environment Strong technical SEO knowledge with the ability to work effectively with developers Experience working cross‑functionally with content, marketing and product teams Confident using SEO and analytics tools such as Screaming Frog, GA4, GSC and Looker Studio A strategic, data‑driven mindset with a track record of delivering results Strong organisation, communication and prioritisation skills Interest in AI‑driven search and emerging digital technologies Degree in a relevant subject or qualified by experience
