About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Digital UX Designer to join our growing team. You’ll lead and deliver digital design work across retail and financial services clients, including new websites, complex decision-based journeys and ongoing optimisation work. You’ll shape creative responses to briefs, design high-quality websites and journeys, and deliver conversion-focused (CRO) solutions that balance strong visual craft with usability, performance and commercial impact.
You’ll take ownership of design projects end-to-end, collaborating closely with UX designers, developers and QA, and playing a key role in shaping the overall creative and UX output of the agency. You’ll be confident making design decisions, articulating rationale and influencing both internal teams and clients.
This role is ideal for a designer who’s moved beyond junior execution and is ready to take more ownership, while still keen to learn, refine their craft and grow within a design-led, CRO-aware agency environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the design of websites, landing pages and complex digital journeys across a range of clients and industries
- Creating clean, intuitive UI designs with strong attention to layout, typography and visual hierarchy
- Translating UX thinking, research and wireframes into polished, high-fidelity designs
- Delivering pixel-perfect, production-ready assets on time and to brief
- Owning and maintaining high-quality artwork for ongoing, high-volume consumer-facing digital products, promotions and optimisation activity
- Contributing to and evolving design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency and scalability
- Designing mobile-first, responsive experiences that meet accessibility and usability standards
- Collaborating closely with developers to ensure designs are feasible, accessible and build-ready
- Leading and contributing to CRO-led design work, including iteration, optimisation and testing
- Supporting and leading client presentations, and contributing confidently to design discussions
- Leading and contributing to design research activities, including competitor analysis, journey reviews and insight gathering
- Identifying user and business problems, and translating them into clear, usable and creative design solutions

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
