Location: Farringdon, London

Elite Traveler is the global guide to ultra-luxury living - from private aviation to fine dining, watches and jewellery, design, and world-class travel. With a multi-platform presence across print, digital and social, we connect with a truly international audience of affluent and influential readers. Following the successful relaunch of Elite Traveler in 2025, we're continuing to invest in our digital offering and are looking for a Senior Digital Writer to help grow the reach and impact of EliteTraveler.com.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital journalist with excellent editorial instincts, strong SEO knowledge and a flair for original storytelling. You'll be confident generating ideas, writing engaging content across a range of luxury topics, and using audience insight to help grow traffic and engagement. Working closely with our editorial team, you'll play an important role in shaping our digital content strategy and helping to grow our online audience.

Main responsibilities

  • Generate, develop and pitch original story ideas on a daily basis, while contributing to forward-planned editorial content.
  • Research, write and publish two to three high-quality, original digital stories each day across Elite Traveler's editorial verticals.
  • Optimise all digital content using SEO best practice, including keywords, metadata, internal linking and content structure.
  • Produce engaging content that performs well across search, Google Discover and other digital channels.
  • Review and update evergreen content to ensure it remains accurate, relevant and optimised.
  • Maintain editorial databases and support the ongoing development of digital content.
  • Uphold the highest editorial standards, ensuring accuracy, legal compliance, house style and brand tone across all published content.
  • Monitor audience trends and performance data to help inform content planning and identify opportunities for growth.

Skills and experience

Essential

  • Significant experience producing high-quality digital editorial content within luxury, lifestyle, travel or another premium consumer publication.
  • An excellent portfolio demonstrating engaging, accurate and original digital journalism.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practice and experience creating content that performs well in search.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong editorial judgement and the ability to identify and develop compelling story ideas.
  • Experience using content management systems (CMS) and working in a fast-paced digital publishing environment.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across editorial and commercial teams.

Desirable

  • Experience producing content for Google Discover.
  • Familiarity with audience analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Parse.ly or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of the luxury sector and affluent consumer audiences.
