About the Role
Maneuver Marketing, a data-driven growth agency scaling leading direct-to-consumer (DTC) health and wellness brands, is seeking a Senior Direct Response Copywriter to accelerate conversion rates across every stage of our customer journey.
Our purpose is to drive transformative change in consumer health through high-quality, innovative supplement products. In just 5 years, we’ve built a brand from the ground up—reaching $100M+ in annual sales, serving 3M+ customers globally, and earning industry accolades, including a spot in The Financial Times’ High-Growth Companies APAC list and 2nd place in the Singapore E50 Awards.
Now, we’re expanding—and we need your expertise to ensure our copy converts, engages, and builds lasting brand loyalty. This role requires a growth mindset, deep expertise in direct response copywriting, and a passion for measurable results, test-and-learn frameworks, and AI-assisted creativity.
Core Responsibilities
1. Funnel Optimization & Performance
- Analyze campaign data to identify funnel gaps, then optimize copy, upsells, and cross-sells to maximize:
- Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
- Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)
- Implement data-driven copy tweaks (e.g., CTAs, hooks, social proof) that move the needle at key funnel stages.
- Continuously refine ad copy, landing pages, and listicles based on A/B test results and performance metrics.
2. Creative Development & Ideation
- Generate a steady stream of fresh concepts, hooks, narratives, and CTAs that outperform controls.
- Develop unique, compliance-safe claims that differentiate our supplements while staying FTC/FDA/ASA-compliant.
- Maintain swipe files and trend repositories to fuel innovation across designers and copywriters.
- Research and extract airtime and must-have messaging angles from customer reviews, forums, and competitor benchmarks.

3. Customer Psychology & Research
- Replace outdated personas with psychological-trigger-driven profiles, uncovering:
- Objections (e.g., skepticism about supplements)
- Emotional motivators (e.g., energy, longevity, confidence)
- Execute surveys, polls, and qualitative interviews to identify:
- Product gaps
- Conversion barriers
- Develop testable copy hypotheses to validate marketing messages.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with media buyers, account managers, designers, and product leads to align copy with growth objectives.
- Participate in weekly creative sprints and monthly strategy sessions to ensure timely, high-impact campaigns.
- Work with project managers to prioritize test schedules and streamline workflows.
5. Compliance & Messaging Consistency
- Craft benefit-focused claims that avoid misleading language while staying within regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure brand consistency across channels (advertorials, social media, paid ads) while maintaining direct-response traction.
- Collaborate with legal/regulatory teams to flag or mitigate potential compliance risks.
6. AI & Innovation in Copywriting
- Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to:
- Scale writes (e.g., bulk video scripts, career advertising)
- Generate frameworks (e.g., AIDA structures, pain-point responses)
- Test variants (e.g., quick iterations on CTAs or headlines)
- Design patch prompts that blend AI speed + human creativity for repeatable conversion lifts.

How Success Is Measured
As a KPI and OKR-driven company, your impact will be measured by:
✅ Greater ROAS & LTV from tested copy in high-impact channels ✅ Increased testing velocity (e.g., fresh hooks, claims, CTAs based on research) ✅ Stronger emotional resonance in copy = nationwide launch and retention markers
What You Bring to the Table
Experience
- 5+ years in direct response copywriting for DTC brands worth $8-9 figures, preferably in health and wellness/supplements.
- Proven track record of speeding conversions, enforcing ROI, and driving scalable frameworks.
Portfolio Strengths
- Samples of:
- Long-form content (landing pages, email sequences, blogs)
- Short-form copy (Facebook/Instagram ads, SMS triggers, CTAs)
- Influencer script templates (15-30s video scripts, social posts)
Research Expertise
- Psychology-backed copy techniques (e.g., ures/pain points extracted from forums, UGC, and customer interviews).
- Competitor deconstruction (copymining strategies to uncover alternatives to benchmarks).
Collaborative Skills
- Ability to synthesize input from cross-functional teams while owning your work.
- Experience with Agile workflows (e.g., TEST→FIX→MEASURE sprints).
Tech & AI Mindset
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (ChatGPT/Perplexity) for research, ideation, and copy production.
- Willingness to prototype, iterate, and automate for scalability.
