# Senior Director, Business Management, Strategy & Revenue Operations Institutional Solutions – CFA Institute

We need you to build the commercial operating foundations for our growing B2B business.


About the Role

At CFA Institute, we are establishing the B2B commercial foundations for our Institutional Solutions division. In this build role, you will define the early-stage Revenue Operations (RevOps) architecture, turning ambivalent concepts into structured models.

As Senior Director, you will:

  • Design and structure directa global institutional relationship models
  • Formulate governance, control systems, and team resilience for a growing ** المؤسسة النامية**
  • Set permissions crucial for scalability—customer segmentation, opportunity definitions, sales effectiveness, virtue disciplines, pipeline management, and financial accounting.

You won’t just refresh existing systems. You’ll build the first blocks—ensuring: efficiency, scalability, and structural adaptability as markets expand.


What You’ll Do

  • Design and operationalise foundational RevOps for compliance:

    • Customer segmentation frameworks
    • Sales playbooks and behaviour cues
    • Pipeline management and forecasting discipline
    • Revenue management infrastructure
  • Translate division strategy into practical execution plans, including scalable governance models, tactically aligned CXO services, and analytical expenditure.

  • Steer commercial enablement with essential structures:

    • Sales compensation concepts
    • Revenue recognition guidelines
    • Alignment between sales, marketing, and financing terms
  • Handle broad stakeholder ranges:

    • Present RevOps to Senior Leadership, bridging:
      • Finance (forgoals, budgetary alignment)
      • People & Culture (compensation models, equitable outcomes)
      • Legal (compliance, agreements)
  • Collectively influence patterns that support greater results.

  • Tune RevOps as people mature: evolve from tribal insights and improvisational scales to rigour-based operation, ensuring scaling and consistency.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking bold operators with track records in constructing commercial functions. Your skillset should demonstrate evidenced hard or visible proficiency in:

  • B2B Revenue Operations (preferably in: SaaS • Fintech • Education • Professional Services learning), with hands-on experience solving scaling challenges: - se gmentation and opportunity prioritisation - Pipeline analytics & forecasting fidelity - Sales comparison and buy-in mechanisms - Commercial capability alignment

  • Confident execution of strategy-to-outcome transitions, transforming ambiguous commercial needs into prioritized plans, and deliverable deployments.

    • Show demonstrable"state change" output.
  • Global strategic awareness able to navigate how local norms, currency mentality, or jurisdictions impact commercial execution decisions.

  • Stakeholder stage capacity to sway strategy in Finance, Legal, HR, marketing, CX trends and senior leadership realms.

Leadership credential defining the are of building yours:

  • Take full accountability over gap assessments, capability decisions.

  • Front an ability to grow these gaps organically.

  • Self-starter mentality. Noting that foundations might be uncertain, you experience pride in owning unsolved imperative tasks.
