Senior Director, Data and Analytics

London

Up to £165,000

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape and deliver a data and analytics strategy within a complex, international organisation. You will sit at the forefront of data-driven transformation, leading a multidisciplinary team and embedding analytics, AI, and data governance across the business.

The Company

They are a globally connected organisation operating within a highly regulated and commercially driven sector. With a strong focus on strategic partnerships and operational efficiency, they play a key role in managing complex supply chains and delivering value across international markets.

The business is evolving its data capabilities to unlock greater insight, support decision-making, and enhance performance. This role will be central to that transformation, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Define and execute the enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategy aligned to business objectives
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning data engineering, analytics, and data science
  • Establish scalable data platforms, architecture, and pipelines to support business growth
  • Drive adoption of analytics and business intelligence across the organisation
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights to support strategic and commercial decisions
  • Identify and deliver AI and machine learning use cases that improve efficiency and performance
  • Implement robust data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across a matrix environment to influence and deliver change

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong track record in leading data, analytics, or insights functions at a senior level
  • Experience operating within complex or matrix organisations with multiple stakeholders
  • Expertise across analytics, business intelligence, and advanced analytics or data science
  • Proven ability to define and deliver data strategy and organisational transformation
  • Experience leading and scaling high-performing teams across multiple data disciplines
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive level
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into business value
