About the Role
You’ll join our high-visibility Business Development team as a Senior Director, tasked with:
- Ownership of a regional territory, balancing new client acquisition and account expansion
- Game-changing growth: Your role will directly shape Konovo’s trajectory by driving strategic opportunities, deepening client relationships, and embracing the intersection of innovation and commercial success

What You’ll Do
Your impact as Senior Director, Business Development will define Konovo’s growth. Core responsibilities include:
- Grow your book of business:
- Set and surpass bookings targets by focusing on both new account expansion and ROI-driven account evolution.
- Develop and execute tailored client strategies, prioritising long-term value creation.

Elevate client partnerships:
- Build trust with senior stakeholders through insightful Thought Leadership, networking, and relationship management.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to uncover cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
- Position Konovo as thought partners—aligning our solutions to specific client challenges.

Drive strategic outreach:
- Proactively engage target accounts through custom campaigns, events, and digital tools.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of high-potential opportunities.

Master the sales process:

- Closing high-value, multi-million-dollar deals
- Partner across cross-functional teams (Customer Success, Product, Marketing, etc.) to ensure seamless account delivery.

- Provide accurate pipeline forecasts, account plans, and performance updates.
- Collaborate on market & industry trends to guide Konovo’s strategy.
Who We’re Looking For
This is a transformative role for experienced B2B sales leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments:
Essential Experience
✔ 5+ years in B2B enterprise sales ✔ Proven ability to exceed multi-million-dollar quotas ✔ Healthcare/Life Sciences domain expertise
- Preferred: pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, market research, healthcare intelligence, or SaaS/data solutions ✔ Strategic “hunter-farmer” mindset ✔ Relationship-driven, insight-led sales approach ✔ Consultative acumen combining data-backed insights and commercial negotiation skills ✔ Outcome-oriented with measurable sales results and ardent ambition ✔ Fluency in cross-functional collaboration (CS, Product, Marketing, etc.) to drive client impact

✔ Sales Navigator (LinkedIn) + CRM proficiency (Salesforce or comparable) ✔ Familiarity with AI-powered or data-driven tools in healthcare or research insight ✔ Market-savvy with competitor awareness & client intelligence to anticipate opportunities
Flexibility & Performance Culture
✔ Willingness to travel domestically (25–40%) for key client interactions & industry events ✔ Bonus: MBA or degree (Business, Marketing, Life Sciences)
Bonus track record: Must-have success in comparable roles for a data solutions/product product-led growth (PLG) model.
