The Opportunity: Senior Director, IT (Regional Lead)
As the senior-most IT leader locally, you’ll drive operational excellence by managing regional IT operations, aligning business needs with global IT standards while supporting the enterprise strategy. Reporting directly to the VP, IT Business Relationship Management (with dotted-line to VP, Integrated Technology Services), this role ensures seamless collaboration between local agility and corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Operational Leadership
- Directly oversee regional IT operations, including service delivery and end-user support.
- Own accountability for regional IT Service Level Agreements (SLAs)—reviewing metrics, identifying improvement areas, and driving issue resolution for service excellence.
- Partner with enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to enforce corporate standards locally while fostering innovation.
- Act as the primary IT stakeholder for business leaders, translating needs into strategic initiatives.
- Secure regional adoption of corporate tools (ServiceNow, Jira) through collaborative rollouts and local buy-in.
- Ensure alignment with global IT roadmaps, mapping regional priorities to enterprise-level projects.

Incident Management & Compliance
- Lead rapid incident resolution while coordinating with corporate governance teams.
- Advocate for technology-as-a-business-enabler, recommending cross-functional opportunities.
People Leadership
- Mentor, develop, and lead a regional IT team (including IT Managers, System Engineers, and Analysts).
- Set clear performance objectives in partnership with enterprise leaders and conduct regular reviews.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Spearhead succession planning and talent development for long-term growth.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years in a leadership role (e.g., managing teams or technical managers).
- People management experience: hiring, coaching, and optimizing diverse IT teams.
- Technical depth: Proficiency in IT operations (infrastructure, service delivery), cybersecurity fundamentals, and emerging tech trends.
- Business acumen: Ability to advise senior stakeholders while aligning with corporate roadmaps.
- ** Soft skills**: Exceptional communication, negotiation, interpersonal ability, and fiscal planning experience.
