Job summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director, International Benefits to join our Global Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving and executing the comprehensive benefits strategy for over 60 countries outside of North America, serving as a transformational leader for benefits design, administration, and delivery.

What you will do
- Lead the strategic planning, design, and seamless execution of a multi-year global benefits framework, establishing a unified international approach for wellbeing and time-off policies that balances global consistency with local market relevance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners, senior leadership, and key external vendors to build critical relationships, manage high-performing regional teams, and effectively communicate program value to drive employee engagement across the Asia-Pacific (APAC), Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Latin America (LATAM) regions.
- Ensure strict compliance with international legal, financial, and legislative regulations—including pension and time-off mandates—while maintaining audit readiness and aggressively managing vendors to optimize administrative costs and pricing.
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive and progressive experience in international benefits design and administration across markets outside of the United States.
- Strong knowledge of the financial drivers behind international program costs, alongside expert-level capability in using cost-containment levers to aggressively manage global spend.
- Proven ability in transformational change leadership, high-stakes decision-making, and managing complex, matrixed global stakeholder relationships with exceptional executive presence.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related industry-standard certification (e.g., Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) is preferred.
