About the Role
Precision AQ is expanding its Real World Evidence team, and we’re seeking an exceptional Senior Director to drive growth in our European operations. This role offers strategic leadership to shape the future of our research and client partnerships.
Responsibilities
The Senior Director (SD) leads research teams, mentors junior staff, and expands the business through new projects and client accounts. Key responsibilities include:

Project & Team Leadership
- Oversee the design and execution of large-scale real-world evidence (RWE) studies using secondary data sources.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytical research efficiently and effectively.
- Anticipate key risks and develop benchtmark mitigating strategies to ensure project success.

Strategic Decision-Making & Impact
- Develop and prioritise research recommendations with measurable impact.
- Communicate risks/opportunities to align staff and act as the final decision-maker.
- Strategise and implement dissemination plans toward peer-reviewed publications, conferences, and presentations.

Client & Business Growth
- Proactively manage client expectations and resolve issues at a strategic level.
- Collaborate with clients to identify new business opportunities, fostering repeat engagements.
- Partner with colleagues to recommend staffing initiatives based on capacity, utilization, and business pipeline.

Team Development & Mentorship
- Establish clear roles, expectations, and performance metrics for team members.
- Provide ongoing coaching, handle conflicts, and facilitate professional growth.
- Empower staff to drive their careers through mentorship and development plans.

Thought Leadership & Advocacy
- Contribute to industry-wide expertise by speaking at national/international conferences.
- Serve as an advisor to clients and trade associations, enhancing Precision AQ’s reputation.
- Author and support research proposals and presentation content for new business pitches.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in:
- Health services research (e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health).
- 10+ years of relevant research experience, with 4–5 years in consulting.
Key Expertise
- Proficiency in epidemiological, statistical, and observational research methods.
- Deep knowledge of:
- Health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).
- Pharmaceutical industry requirements, health policy, payer value assessment, and health technology assessments (HTA) (both EU and global).
- Track record of managing databases, project timelines, and financial performance.
- Ability to develop compelling research proposals for new business win.`
- Experience in docker and calibre management and editorial expertise.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Research merger analysis runtime and interpreting advisory memory application.
- Managing a cross-functional team in a rapidly evolving RWE landscape.
- Staff supervision, mentorship, and onboarding.

Technical & Soft Skills
- Proficiency in business applications (MS Office, Excel, advanced macros, internal systems).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (including overnight stays).
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD, DrPH, or MD.
