Introduction to the Team
Reporting to the Vice President, B2B Analytics & Strategic Partnerships and Affiliates (SPA), this position leads the Growth & Operations (G&O) function within SPA. You will be responsible for building and running the operational backbone of SPA—spanning go-to-market, strategy and programs, revenue analytics, growth and partner marketing, sales enablement, and vendor management—that enables the broader organization to accelerate growth and scale efficiently.
You will work cross-functionally with teams including Commercial, Finance, Product & Tech, Marketing and Brands to translate strategy into execution, improve operational efficiency, and deliver the insights and programmes that drive stronger partner outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
In this role, you will:
- Build systems that encourage talent to grow in the organization, develop successors for own position, and share knowledge and best practices across broader business groups.
- Create pipelines of talent from both internal and external pools; place individuals in roles and assignments that support their personal and career development.
- Model and promote a “one team” culture, handling conflict openly and encouraging ownership and collaboration across organizational boundaries.
- Anticipate future state, strategic business needs and develop rationale for investing in projects or initiatives now to meet long-term objectives.
- Lead others to develop alternative approaches, apply analytics to assess viability, and present business cases to executive leadership, negotiating for investment in recommended solutions.
- Define and evolve the G&O strategy in alignment with SPA’s overall goals, ensuring the function’s priorities directly support accelerating the core business, expanding the product portfolio, and driving efficiency and scalability across the organization.
- Own the annual and multi-year planning cycle for SPA, including initiative sizing, business casing, prioritization, and trade-off decisions across teams.
- Lead the go-to-market function that brings SPA’s strategy and new product offerings to market through integrated programmes spanning strategy, product marketing, and cross-functional programme management.
- Leads the growth and partner marketing function, ensuring that large-scale marketing and enablement strategies meet organizational objectives, are cost effective, and deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Act as a vital bridge between leadership and day-to-day operations, optimizing workflows, boosting efficiencies, and constantly striving for operational excellence and scalability.
- Drive complex, multi-workstream initiatives across SPA from design through to execution, ensuring programmes land on time and deliver measurable business impact.
- Develop and maintain operating rhythms, governance frameworks, and delivery processes that lift execution quality and reduce friction across the organisation.
- Oversee SPA’s revenue analytics capability—encompassing commercial strategy, business intelligence, and data science—transforming performance data into actionable insights that inform partner and business decisions.
- Champion a data-first culture; ensure leaders across SPA have the metrics, models, and tools they need to make well-grounded decisions quickly and confidently.
- Steer and influence SPA’s product decisions by developing areas of expertise that best meet market demands; act as an innovator and thought leader around new products, technologies, and partner-facing offerings.
- Lead a centralised vendor management capability, overseeing outsourced affiliate and partner services to drive consistent quality, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Proactively identify staffing and resourcing needs with internal stakeholders and plan and assign financial and material resources across the business unit in line with organisational goals.
- Develop policies and procedures to increase resource utilisation efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs within the business unit.
- Coach leaders of leaders on building strong, broad relationships across the business and with relevant industry partners; influence and partner with stakeholders to drive business-wide strategy.
- Communicate department strategy, vision, and mission across stakeholder groups to gain buy-in and drive clarity on roles and individual impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
