Senior Directorate Support Officer (Business Projects)

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly organised Senior Directorate Support Officer (Business Projects) to play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects, performance management, and business improvement across the Communities Directorate.

This is an exciting and varied role for someone who enjoys:

This is a 37-hour per week position.


Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Support the delivery of key Directorate projects and business priorities
  • Assist in developing and improving systems, processes, and performance reporting
  • Analyse and validate performance data, producing meaningful reports
  • Support public consultations, surveys, focus groups, and engagement activities
  • Work closely with managers, partners, and stakeholders across the Directorate
  • Assist with risk and performance management processes
  • Support the planning and delivery of community events and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and document retention requirements

Key Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to work proactively, be adaptable, and deliver high-quality support services
  • A passion for continuous improvement, project support, and positive community impact
  • Fluency in Welsh (able to greet customers through this medium)
