Senior Directorate Support Officer (Business Projects)
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly organised Senior Directorate Support Officer (Business Projects) to play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects, performance management, and business improvement across the Communities Directorate.
This is an exciting and varied role for someone who enjoys:

This is a 37-hour per week position.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Support the delivery of key Directorate projects and business priorities
- Assist in developing and improving systems, processes, and performance reporting
- Analyse and validate performance data, producing meaningful reports
- Support public consultations, surveys, focus groups, and engagement activities
- Work closely with managers, partners, and stakeholders across the Directorate
- Assist with risk and performance management processes
- Support the planning and delivery of community events and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and document retention requirements

Key Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Excellent organisational, communication, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to work proactively, be adaptable, and deliver high-quality support services
- A passion for continuous improvement, project support, and positive community impact
- Fluency in Welsh (able to greet customers through this medium)

Working Arrangements
The Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post, providing flexibility in working between home and the office.
