Overview

Aramco energizes the world economy. As the world’s largest producer of hydrocarbons (oil and gas) with the lowest upstream carbon intensity of any major producer, Aramco combines market discipline with a long-term vision, built upon decades of experience.

Headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with global operations, Aramco is committed to ensuring the Top Five global company by market capitalization maximises energy value sustainably, while driving societal and economic benefits around the world. This role is within the Downstream Business Support Department (DBSD), responsible for:

As the Senior Strategy & Market Analyst, you’ll deliver actionable insights and strategic advice to the Downstream President & executive leadership, shaping business priorities, competitive positioning, and market engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

These are the core expectations of the role:

Strategic Advisory

  • Deliver high-impact briefings, executive summaries, and decision memos for senior leadership, ensuring insights drive critical business decisions.
  • Translate complex data and trend analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior executives and stakeholders.

Market, Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Analyse global and regional energy trends, competitive activity, and macroeconomic factors, identifying implications for Aramco’s downstream business.
  • Model energy supply/demand dynamics, pricing mechanisms, and investment opportunities to optimise business forecasting and scenario planning.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
