Senior Dynamics 365 Developer
Location: homebased (customer travel if required)
Type: Permanent

We are working with a leading Microsoft Partner that is growing its Dynamics 365 and Power Platform practice. They’re looking for an experienced D365 CE Developer/Technical Consultant who can combine strong hands-on technical capability with confident customer-facing skills.
This is a opportunity for someone who wants to work on meaningful transformation programmes, influence solution design, and explore emerging technologies across Copilot, AI, Azure OpenAI, and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing, developing, and delivering Dynamics 365 CE solutions across sales, service, marketing, and wider customer engagement environments
- Building custom plug-ins, workflows, integrations, and extensions using C#
- Developing client-side customisations using JavaScript and modern frameworks
- Creating and extending Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and PCF controls
- Working with Azure Functions and wider Azure services to support integrations and scalable solution architecture
- Supporting the use of GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, OpenAI, and Azure OpenAI within customer solutions
- Translating business requirements into robust technical designs
- Working directly with customers to understand challenges, explain technical options, and guide delivery
- Supporting technical leadership across projects, including mentoring developers and reviewing solution quality
- Collaborating with architects and consultants to ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned to Microsoft best practice

What we’re looking for
- Strong experience developing solutions across Dynamics 365 CE and the Power Platform
- Excellent C# development skills, particularly with custom plug-ins and backend extensions
- Experience with JavaScript customisations and ideally PCF controls
- Knowledge of Azure Functions and integration patterns within Microsoft cloud environments
- Experience working with Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Power Platform components
- Exposure to GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, OpenAI, or Azure OpenAI would be highly desirable
- Strong understanding of ALM, DevOps, source control, and solution deployment practices
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing consulting environment
- Ability to lead technical conversations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Confidence to challenge requirements, advise on best practice, and support solution decisions
