About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Dynamics Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimisation of Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform solutions. This role is critical in delivering scalable, secure, and transformational digital solutions aligned with L&G’s strategic goals.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, drive high-quality solution delivery, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure outcomes meet regulatory, performance, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
- Lead end-to-end delivery cycles, from requirements gathering and architectural design to deployment and ongoing operational support
- Develop and maintain secure integrations with external systems using APIs, standard, and custom connectors
- Optimise and enhance existing solutions to improve performance, usability, scalability, and maintainability
- Implement platform governance, including environment strategy, naming conventions, solution structuring, and lifecycle management
- Ensure role-based security, data integrity controls, and compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Technical escalation point, mentor teams, and facilitate knowledge sharing across development and delivery
- Drive continuous improvement through:
- Modern Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices
- Automation, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- Adoption of AI-enabled features and Microsoft Copilot

Essential Requirements
- Extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365, backed by relevant Microsoft certifications
- Deep technical expertise in:
- Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse
- Dynamics 365 configuration, customisation, and integration
- Proven track record of designing and delivering end-to-end solutions (discovery → deployment → support)
- Advanced knowledge of modern integration patterns, APIs, security, and scalability
- Strong data governance, modelling, and security best practices to ensure compliance
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills—ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in agile environments, cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging AI-driven automation
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot or generative AI upskilling
- Knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, financial data security)
- Familiarity with healthcare or pensions sector workflows
