The Role
Job Title: Senior Dynamics Platform Engineer
Location: Hove, One City Park (Institutional Retirement, L&G Retirements) Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Dynamics Platform Engineer to drive technical innovation across Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365. This role is critical to delivering scalable, secure, and transformative solutions that support our digital strategy and business objectives.
As a senior engineer, you’ll:
- Design, develop, and optimise enterprise-grade platforms using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Lead initiatives from requirements discovery through deployment and ongoing support.
- Champion best-practice governance, performance, usability, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Collaborate closely with architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to align solutions with long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Build:
- Deliver high-quality applications using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
- Integrate external systems through APIs, connectors, and scalable, secure patterns (all compliance-aligned).

End-to-End Delivery:
- Manage solutions from requirements to deployment and support, ensuring excellence and scalability.

Governance & Optimisation:
- Enforce repository/naming enforcement, environment strategy, lifecycle management.
- Align solutions with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and modern tooling.

Security & Compliance:
- Oversee role-based security, data integrity, and regulatory adherence.

Technical Leadership:
- Provide guidance and mentoring for cross-functional teams.
- Leverage AI and Microsoft Copilot for automation and innovation.
- Ensure alignment with internal and external business policies.

Organisational Impact:
- Act as key escalation contact for technical challenges.
- Drive KPI improvements through ALM practices and automation.
Key Requirements
Technical Proficiencies
- Deep experience: Enterprise-scale Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365, supported by relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Domain expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365.
- Solutions delivered end-to-end (requirements design → deployment → operational support).
- Certifications and advanced knowledge in:
- APIs, connectors, scalable integration patterns
- ALM, environment management, DevOps (CI/CD, version control)
- Data modelling, governance, and security to maintain compliance
