Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimisation of Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform solutions. This role is pivotal in delivering scalable, secure, and business-aligned digital solutions that underpin our digital transformation strategy.
With deep technical expertise and solution architecture skills, you will drive best-practice delivery, enforce governance, enhance quality, and provide technical leadership across the team. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure strategic alignment and high-standard execution.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Solution Design & Development:
- Design, build, and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse solutions
- Lead end-to-end solution delivery, from requirements, architecture, and testing through to deployment and operational support

Integration & Optimization:
- Develop and maintain external system integrations (APIs, standard/custom connectors) using approved integration best practices
- Optimise performances, usability, scalability, and long-term maintainability of existing solutions

Governance & Security:
- Enforce platform governance via environment strategies, naming conventions, solution structuration, and lifecycle management
- Implement and oversee role-based security, data integrity controls, and compliance with regulatory policies and internal guidelines

Technical Leadership & Mentorship:
- Act as the senior technical escalation point, providing guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
- Drive continuous improvement via Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and adoption of tools, automation, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI-enabled automation, Microsoft Copilot)
Who We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Enterprise-level expertise in designing and delivering Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions (certified preferably)
- Deep technical knowledge of:
- Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365
- Integration patterns (APIs, connectors, secure & scalable integrations)
- Customisation, ALM, and DevOps (version control, CI/CD pipelines)
- Data governance, modelling, and security best practices
- Proven experience in end-to-end solution delivery (discovery → architecture → deployment → support)
- Agile-minded, with experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for adopting modern capabilities (AI, automation, Microsoft Copilot)

- Familiarity with financial services regulations (especially pensions/retirement)
- Experience with Dynamics 365 in infrastructure-led environments (e.g., financial services)
