Senior E-commerce Solutions Architect

Are you a technical strategist who thrives at the absolute intersection of enterprise architecture and high-growth digital commerce?

I am partnering with a leading, award-winning e-commerce agency that is reshaping the digital footprint for global D2C powerhouse brands and complex B2B enterprises. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you won't just be drawing technical blueprints—you will own the technical discovery, migration strategies, and architectural evolution for high-transaction ecosystems pushing millions in revenue.

This isn’t a back-room engineering role. You will act as the ultimate trusted advisor to enterprise merchants and a vital ally to our commercial squads, mapping out high-performance tech stacks that balance bleeding-edge innovation with rock-solid commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Pre-Sales & Discovery: Act as the technical anchor in discovery workshops and high-value pitches, confidently guiding C-suite stakeholders through complex tech decisions and ensuring projects are accurately scoped to protect agency delivery margins.
  • Architectural Blueprinting: Design and architect scalable Shopify Plus, hybrid, and fully headless/composable (MACH) commerce solutions tailored to complex, enterprise-grade merchant requirements.
  • Enterprise Systems Integration: Lead the technical design for mission-critical integrations connecting e-commerce frontends to core back-office infrastructure (ERP, PIM, OMS, and WMS frameworks like NetSuite, SAP, or Akeneo).
  • Risk-Mitigated Migrations: Map out seamless data migration patterns and robust operational risk mitigations to confidently transition clients away from restrictive legacy platforms.
  • Engineering Leadership: Champion best practices across performance, security, and extensibility by leading code/architecture reviews and mentoring senior development squads to ensure flawless delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
