Senior Early Years Practitioner

We’re looking for a Senior Early Years Practitioner to join our Kids’ Zone team. We know the true power of play, indoors and out, and would rather spend our time providing quality play sessions than completing paperwork-based assessments. Join us to share your fresh ideas to enhance every session, and collaborate with a supportive, growing team dedicated to creativity, connection, and making a real difference in children’s lives. We are an Ofsted registered setting, within the hotel, offering supervised sessions to guests’ children as well as non-residents. We care for children aged 6 months to 12 years old and provide a babysitting service for children on request. You’ll be enthusiastic about diving into our sessions, adaptable in the moment, and focused on bringing out the very best in every activity in a location where learning and play come together seamlessly. This is a full-time position with a share of tips paid monthly.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 qualification in childcare
  • Proven experience delivering childcare and play opportunities in a childcare setting
  • Experience of working with children and families, team members, other professionals
  • Strong communication skills
  • An energetic team player with a positive attitude and outlook
  • Ability to remain calm and considered under pressure
  • Experience of safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour management and inclusion procedures
  • Experience working in a hospitality environment (preferred)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
