Position: Senior EC&I Engineer
Reference: 2602
Location: Birchwood Park, Warrington
Arrangement: Permanent or Contract
Work arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferable.
Role Description
Reporting to the Team Engineering Leads, the Senior CE&I Engineer will support work scope in the SFM and Remediation Enabling Projects Portfolio.
Expecting to lead detailed design and execution support work on HALES while supporting more junior engineers.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours to drive timely delivery of CE&I Engineering work scope to cost, quality and schedule
- Experienced in delivering work for SL
- Ability to be SQEP’d as checker
- Experience Designing, Specifying & implementing:
- Electrical supply distribution systems to BS7671
- UPS Systems
- Motor Drives
- Small Power
- Mechanical Handling systems and/or Cranes
- Process Instrumentation
- Design and specification of CE&I safety systems to BS EN 61508 and/or Sellafield ES 2100 series of standards

Desirable Experience
- Experience of the front end definition phases of the project lifecycle; preferably working on SL projects.
- Experience CE/UKCA marking machines and Machinery Safety
- Design of Radiometric & Special Instruments (e.g. Gamma Monitors, Activity-in-Air and Criticality incident Detection Systems).
- Experience Designing Protective Security Systems (e.g. CCTV, Intruder Detection, Access Control Systems).
- Design and Specification of Programmable Electronic Systems (e.g. PES/SCADA).
