Senior Ecologist

Senior Ecologist – Basingstoke, Permanent

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 (GBP)

Location: Basingstoke

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Ecologist to join a fast-growing, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Basingstoke. Responsibilities

As a Senior Ecologist, you will:

  • Lead ecological surveys and prepare technical reports
  • Manage environmental and development projects
  • Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with environmental and engineering professionals
  • Support junior team members and contribute to team development
  • Play a key part in the continued growth of the ecology practice

Requirements

  • Experience as a Senior Ecologist or in a similar ecology consultancy role
  • Qualification in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and survey methodologies
  • Excellent report writing and project management skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Living in/near Basingstoke, with reasonable commuting possibilities
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
