Company Introduction:

Role Overview:

Position: Senior eCommerce Manager – Independent Contractor
Commitment: Flexible, 2-5 hours/week (select opportunities as they arise)
Duration: Project-based (typically 30 mins to 1.5 hours per task)

Collaborate with early-stage eCommerce start-ups, leveraging your expertise to assess and refine their platforms, tools, and strategies. Provide critical feedback on emerging online retail solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and advise on new eCommerce platforms, tools, or integrations against market needs and operational efficiency.
  • Provide structured feedback on digital merchandising strategies, customer journey improvements, or conversion optimization tactics.
  • Benchmark eCommerce solutions against existing industry standards and competitive offerings (e.g., payment gateways, fulfillment, analytics).
  • Review and provide input on sales pitches, GTM strategies, or investor decks for eCommerce-focused businesses.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of senior-level experience in eCommerce management, digital retail strategy, or online operations (e.g., Head of eCommerce, VP of Digital, Senior Director of Merchandising).
  • Deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape, consumer behavior, and operational challenges.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic, actionable, and constructive feedback on digital solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
  • Current or recent experience working with or managing eCommerce platforms and technologies.
