Description
As Senior Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of Beverage Daily. Combining editorial leadership with commercial awareness, you will be driving content strategy, identifying growth opportunities and strengthening the brand's influence across digital, broadcast and live formats. Your contribution will help grow audience engagement, drive commercial success and support the continued evolution of the brand.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Shaping and delivering the editorial direction for Beverage Daily, producing content that remains relevant, differentiated and impactful
- Overseeing the planning and delivery of high-quality content across digital, premium and multimedia formats
- Identifying market trends and translating them into compelling content initiatives and commercial opportunities
- Using audience insight and performance data to inform decision-making, optimise engagement and facilitate growth
- Developing content initiatives across events, broadcasts and emerging audience propositions
- Collaborating with commercial, marketing and audience teams to deliver commercially aligned content whilst maintaining editorial integrity
- Representing the brand externally through industry events, moderation, speaking opportunities and stakeholder engagement
- Lead, manage and support the development of a direct report

What You’ll Need

- Significant experience within a digital editorial, content or media environment
- Excellent editorial judgement with the ability to identify trends and shape content strategies
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for audience growth and revenue generation
- Creative and collaborative approach with experience developing and delivering content strategies
- Proven experience using audience insight and analytics to inform content decisions and improve engagement
- Exceptional storytelling abilities, with a track record of creating engaging and accessible content
- Confidence representing a brand externally and building relationships with industry stakeholders
- Previous people manager experience with the ability to mentor and support the development of a direct report
