POSITION DETAILS

Position: Education Sales Advisor - Student Recruitment - Mandarin Speaking
Salary Base: from £30,000 with Uncapped Commission and Bonus
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Hybrid in London
Type: Full-time

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

TopCourses is a leading international education consultancy, based in the UK. We are accredited by the British Council, IECF and UCAS, and we are the official representative for over 100 education institutions. We provide tailored, expert guidance to international students at every stage of their application to schools and universities in the UK.

We are looking for target driven Education Sales Advisors (Mandarin Speaking) with entrepreneurial spirit to be part of our young, vibrant, growing team. Our ideal candidates are experienced salespersons, and are familiar with Chinese social media platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Planning, organisation and end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, promotions and events to meet lead generation targets
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and enhance lead generation methods by identifying opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will increase leads and sales.
  • Engage in outreach activities, such as presenting at school/university talks, career events and university fairs (some travel required).

Sales

  • Identify and interact with prospective leads/customers, who are both students and parents, by introducing the company and the value that we can provide.
  • Actively follow up with prospective customers in a tailored and personalised manner, by utilising WeChat, video meetings and screen sharing to connect with and support prospective students in their decision-making process to close sales and to achieve expected sales targets.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company’s processes, procedures and products to generate the biggest possible returns/sales income for the business.

Service Delivery

  • Advise students on education options in the UK and guide them through the application process.
  • Collaborate with application support team to ensure fast, efficient and effective follow-up of students’ applications to increase conversion rates and achieve expected enrolments targets, whilst providing a high standard of customer service throughout.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree (required)
  • At least two year' work experience in lead generation in education or careers consultancy
  • Self-motivated and results-orientated
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Social media marketing experience is an advantage
