Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer

Aberdeen (Hybrid - 3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote)

12-Month Contract

£42-£44 per Hour Outside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Senior E&I Designer to join a leading engineering organisation delivering brownfield modification projects within offshore drilling facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality electrical and instrumentation design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver E&I design work for brownfield modifications.
  • Produce and update electrical and instrumentation drawings and documentation.
  • Support design reviews, project planning, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong E&I design experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proven background in brownfield and offshore projects.
  • Experience using industry-standard design software (e.g. AutoCAD, PDMS, E3. series).
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical and instrumentation standards and regulations.
