About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Certification Engineer to lead a team of Electrical Certification Engineers and drive the successful certification of aircraft seating and cabin interior products across global programmes.
Working at the forefront of aerospace innovation, you will be responsible for delivering electrical qualification and certification activities in line with EASA, FAA, Airbus and Boeing requirements. This is a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to influence certification strategy, lead complex programmes, and work directly with regulatory authorities, customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical certification activities across multiple aircraft seating programmes.
- Manage and mentor a team of Electrical Certification Engineers.
- Act as the technical focal point for EASA, FAA, Airbus, Boeing and other key stakeholders.
- Review and approve electrical certification documentation, including qualification plans, test reports, electrical load analyses, grounding and bonding documentation, and system safety assessments.
- Support electrical system integration and certification of lighting, actuation, heating, IFE and passenger comfort systems.
- Review electrical installation drawings, wire diagrams and design data to ensure compliance and airworthiness requirements are achieved.
- Drive process improvement, standardisation and KPI performance across the certification function.
- Support development, qualification and certification testing activities.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, procurement and programme teams to ensure successful project delivery.

About You
- Degree qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
- Significant aerospace electrical certification experience, including aircraft equipment and cabin interior products.
- Strong knowledge of EASA and FAA certification requirements, including Part 21, CS25 and 14 CFR Part 25.
- Experience with DO-160, DO-178, EMC/EMI and aircraft qualification testing.
- Previous experience leading projects, mentoring engineers or managing certification teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work directly with customers, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
