Hybrid Working Available Following Probation
An established international engineering consultancy with over 100 years of experience delivering major infrastructure projects worldwide is expanding its electrical engineering team and is seeking both a Mid-Level Electrical Design Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy working on complex infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally, particularly within the ports, harbours, container terminals, industrial, and heavy infrastructure sectors.
About The Role
Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be involved in the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
You will play a key role in providing practical and technically robust engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of large-scale infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities
- Electrical infrastructure design across the full project lifecycle
- Feasibility studies, detailed design, calculations, and technical reporting
- Design of LV and HV power systems and utility distribution networks
- Preparation of engineering specifications and technical documentation
- Technical support during construction, commissioning, and site activities
- Design reviews, design assurance, and quality control
- Coordination with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Contribution to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects
Requirements
Senior Engineer
- Extensive electrical design experience within infrastructure or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of power systems, utility networks, and complex engineering projects
- Experience leading technical design packages and coordinating project delivery
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- Chartered status or working towards chartership would be advantageous

Working Arrangements
- Office-based during probation period
