H-Power
H-Power is a UK-based, AIM-listed clean energy company developing zero-emissions hydrogen power systems. Using ammonia to produce low-carbon hydrogen at the point of need, and fuel cells to convert it into reliable, off-grid power, H-Power offers a scalable, practical alternative to fossil fuels, serving construction, infrastructure, transport and power generation sectors.
Behind the technology is a team driven by a shared purpose: to accelerate the shift away from fossil fuels.
H-Power is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join the team and work across the full development lifecycle, from feasibility and requirements capture through design, build, test and operation on hydrogen fuel cell, hydrogen generation and integrated power systems.
This is a technically demanding and rewarding role for a dynamic professional looking to make a real impact in one of today's most exciting clean energy sectors.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
