A leading UK building services consultancy is looking to grow its electrical engineering team with an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer.
This is a great opportunity to work with a global market leading M&E consultancy that has over 20 years specialising in data centres, delivering large-scale, complex mission-critical projects. The Senior Electrical Design Engineer role offers the chance to work on these industry leading developments.
The role
You'll join an established team delivering electrical building services designs for data centre projects, working from concept to detail design as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer.

The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for:
- Small power and power distribution design for mission-critical facilities
- Lighting design and emergency lighting systems
- Cable sizing
- Backup power system design
- Coordination with mechanical and multidisciplinary teams
- Production of technical reports
- Delivering projects through RIBA Stages 2 to 4
What we're looking for:
- 4+ years’ experience in electrical building services design
- Experience with complex building projects
- Consultancy experience within the UK
- Delivered projects through RIBA Stages 3 and 4
- Degree qualified
- Experience using lighting and small power software:
- Amtech
- Dialux
- Revit
- Relux
- Cymap
- Previous data experience is not essential for the right Senior Electrical Design Engineer
