Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading engineering manufacturer to recruit a Senior Electrical Design Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering bespoke electrical solutions for data centres, power generation and critical infrastructure projects.
You'll lead electrical design activities from concept through to manufacture and commissioning, working on complex, customer-driven projects while mentoring junior engineers and helping shape engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the electrical design of bespoke LV power and control systems.
- Produce electrical schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams, cable schedules and I/O schedules using SolidWorks Electrical.
- Ensure designs comply with BS7671 and relevant IEC standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical design, projects and manufacturing teams to deliver practical, manufacturable solutions.
- Support testing, commissioning, technical problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

We're Looking For:
- 5+ years' experience in electrical design within manufacturing, industrial or bespoke equipment.
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, control panels and power distribution.
- Experience with SolidWorks Electrical.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and provide technical leadership.
