As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer / Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Design Engineer you will be a key part of a close-knit electrical design engineering team where your ideas, and personal development truly matter.

Your Background

  • Electrical design experience with LV systems, low-voltage 400/230v AC power distribution, lighting, heating, and small power distribution, and plant power e.g., switchboards / Motor Control Centres.
  • Experience of using industry standard CAD and calculation software e.g., Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD, or Revit.
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or a related field with a desire to become a Chartered Engineer (if not already achieved).
  • Experience in energy, oil & gas, utilities, building services, or similar engineering sectors is a big plus.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Designing and delivering electrical systems for innovative energy and utilities projects.
  • Producing electrical designs to relevant industry standards (e.g., BS7671, BS7430, Electricity at Work regulations).
  • Taking projects from initial design through to customer handover.
  • Supporting the planning of projects and helping to create project schedules.
  • Working closely with customers, and engineering project teams to find creative, efficient electrical design engineering solutions.
