Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Newmarket

We are a well-established electrical manufacturing and design company based in Newmarket, delivering high-quality engineered solutions across a range of industries. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Electrical Design Engineer to help us shape innovative products and systems from concept through to manufacture.

What You'll Be Doing
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and development of bespoke electrical systems and control panels. Working closely with our engineering and production teams, you'll:
- Design electrical control systems and panel layouts.
- Produce electrical schematics using CAD software.
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Liaise with customers to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Support production and commissioning teams with technical expertise.
- Drive continuous improvement in design processes and product development.

You'll ideally have:
- A qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in electrical design within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of electrical control systems, panel design, and relevant standards.
- Experience with electrical CAD software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for innovation.
