What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and development of bespoke electrical systems and control panels. Working closely with our engineering and production teams, you'll:

  • Design electrical control systems and panel layouts.
  • Produce electrical schematics using CAD software.
  • Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Liaise with customers to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Support production and commissioning teams with technical expertise.
  • Drive continuous improvement in design processes and product development.

You'll ideally have:

  • A qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in electrical design within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical control systems, panel design, and relevant standards.
  • Experience with electrical CAD software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for innovation.
