Role Description
This is a full-time, Senior Electrical Engineer role based in the Midlands/ London. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design and development of electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems. - Preparing and reviewing technical drawings and specifications
- Performing electrical load calculations
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and sustainability objectives
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams
- Mentoring junior engineers
- Supporting project delivery from concept through construction
- Participating in client meetings
- Providing technical guidance
- Contributing to continuous improvement in engineering practices

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with a solid understanding of core principles and applications
- Expertise in Electrical Design, including developing detailed layouts, specifications, and calculations for building and infrastructure projects
- Experience in Power Distribution and Power Systems, including system analysis, protection coordination, and reliability considerations
- Proficiency with relevant design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, electrical calculation software) and familiarity with UK and international standards
- Relevant engineering degree (e.g., BEng or MEng in Electrical Engineering) and professional registration or progression toward chartered status are highly beneficial
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects
- Experience in sustainable design, low-energy systems, and modern building technologies is an advantage
