Ready to Power the Future of the UK's Water Infrastructure?

Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while developing your career within a growing multidisciplinary consultancy?

What if your next role gave you the chance to lead the delivery of electrical designs on major water and wastewater infrastructure projects, mentor junior engineers, and work alongside some of the industry's leading technical specialists?

We're partnering with an expanding engineering consultancy that's delivering innovative engineering solutions across the UK water sector. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to strengthen their multidisciplinary design team.

Whether you're looking for a permanent opportunity (up to £70,000 DOE) or the flexibility of a contract role (£450 per day Outside IR35), this is a fantastic opportunity to work on projects that make a real impact.

🚀 The Opportunity

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll take ownership of electrical engineering design packages across a wide range of water and wastewater projects.

Working closely with Project Managers, Design Leads and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you'll produce high-quality electrical designs, provide technical leadership and support the development of junior engineers and CAD technicians.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges while remaining hands-on with design and client delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
