An established built environment consultancy is growing its Building Services team and is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to support delivery across a varied project portfolio. You'll work across new build and refurbishment schemes, covering the full range of RIBA stages, with strong internal support, mentoring and clear development pathways.
You'll play a key part in producing compliant, high-quality electrical building services designs and supporting project delivery from concept through to completion, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver reports, specifications, performance and detailed design outputs as part of a wider design team
- Produce designs using CAD/BIM (Revit) and associated tools
- Complete design calculations to demonstrate compliance with client and project requirements
- Undertake site surveys, inspections, defect recording and witness activities
- Review construction design information and provide technical commentary
- Liaise with architects, structural engineers, surveyors, contractors and internal teams
- Attend project and technical meetings to drive progress and resolve issues
- Ensure designs meet legislative and health & safety requirements
- Advise on energy use and conservation, reducing environmental impact and carbon footprint

Required experience & skills
- Proven electrical design experience from concept to completion aligned to RIBA stages and BSRIA BG6
- Qualification in Building Services Engineering, HNC/HND or above
- Amtech/OEM calculation software experience (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Revit experience is desirable
