Senior Electrical Systems Engineer

Salary: Up to £65,000

Location: Bedford, UK (On-Site)

Position: Full Time

In this role you'll be maintaining and improving existing plant machinery and systems, alongside the definition and introduction of new capabilities as transformation continues.

You won't just be maintaining what's already there you'll lead projects end to end, from early requirements through to installation and final sign-off.

This is a hands-on, on-site role for someone who wants to own problems and see them through to the finish.

About You

  • Degree (Bachelors or Masters) qualified in Electrical Engineering or closely related subject.
  • 5 – 10 years’ industrial experience post degree in a similar role
  • Understanding of the application of formal design control and change procedures.
  • Experience or a working knowledge of electrical circuit design software, such as SPICE, or implementation languages such as LabVIEW, PLC programming, Matlab etc. (other tools may be more appropriate)
  • Happy to take the lead in determining the best solutions to problems and then driving those solutions to completion.
