Qualified Electrician – Career Progression Opportunity
Our client is looking for an experienced Electrician who wants more than just another job.
This is an opportunity to join a growing business with genuine career progression. Initially, you'll be working 5 days on the tools, but as the company continues to expand, there will be the opportunity to move into a 4-day on-site / 1-day office-based role, supporting the day-to-day operations and helping drive the business forward.
Who Would Suit This Role?
This opportunity is ideal for someone who falls into one of the following categories:
Option 1
- An experienced Electrician looking to take the next step in their career. You enjoy being on the tools but would also like the opportunity to develop your leadership, operational and management skills as the business grows.
Option 2
- Someone currently working as a Sole Trader or running a small electrical business who enjoys the electrical work but is tired of dealing with:
- Quoting
- Paperwork
- Accounts
- Chasing payments
- Administration
- Running every aspect of the business
Join our client’s team, focus on what you enjoy, and let them take care of the rest.
If you bring existing clients or secure new work, they offer a profit-sharing arrangement on that work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
