In this role, the focus will be on organising the day-to-day activities and providing technical supervision of our test team. Collaborating with the design and engineering teams, your role includes assisting in the development and introduction of new test procedures along with the associated equipment encompassing a broad and varied range of customer products.
Duties Will Include
- Technical supervision of test activities undertaken by technician staff.
- Diagnosis and resolution of issues with products under test.
- Liaison with customer development and engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Maintenance and improvement of existing Test Rigs / Equipment / Programs
- Ensuring delivery of test results to customers and analysis of defects.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong understanding of general test equipment. A degree in electronics or a related engineering discipline is preferred, but relevant experience in a similar role or industry will be considered in place of formal qualifications.
You should have a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for delivering ‘right first time’ results against challenging timescales. Good general computer skills are essential.

This position offers 20 days holiday plus an extra day for each complete years service to a maximum of 24 days plus paid bank holidays, 5% employer and 4% employee pension scheme, free parking.
Salary circa. £35,000 depending upon experience.
4 Day Working Week – Mon – Thurs 7am to 5pm.
