Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Bristol (Central), Permanent
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software across our product portfolio
- Design and optimise solutions using low-level C in safety- and security-critical environments
- Work with real-time operating systems (preferably FreeRTOS)
- Collaborate with hardware teams, leveraging expertise in ARM architectures
- Implement networking protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP
- Contribute to long-term projects with room for progression

Requirements
- 3–7 years of demonstrated embedded software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in low-level C and embedded systems development
- Familiarity with RTOS (bonus for FreeRTOS experience)
- Knowledge of ARM architecture is essential
- Experience with networking protocols (TCP, UDP)
- Safety-critical software experience is a plus but not mandatory
- A good degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline
