Job Role: Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Kent
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid
I'm supporting a leading defence technology organisation in their search for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a team developing sophisticated airborne target systems used to support the testing and evaluation of defence capabilities.
This is a genuinely varied embedded role, with software spanning both the airborne platform and the ground control systems. You'll be developing flight-critical embedded software, as well as the communications and control software that enables operators to monitor and manage missions.

Experience Required:
- Embedded C development
- RTOS and/or bare-metal environments
- Low-level hardware and driver development
- Full software development lifecycle
- Git and modern development practices
- Debugging & Testing
