A Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer with extensive experience writing efficient code in C/C++ for microcontrollers and processors will join a Global Technology Company, delivering innovative electronic equipment to the broadcast industry.
You’ll take designs from concept through to production - bringing strong C/C++ programming to write efficient code; will undertake hardware-software integration and system optimization as well as debugging and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:
- Qualified to Degree level in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Several years’ industrial design experience which should include Low-Level experience with Linux, Bare Metal coding and good knowledge of communication protocols.
Key Skills and Experience sought include:
- Degree in Electronics, Software, Computer Science or similar discipline.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Linux Operating Systems and Drivers.
- Bare Metal coding.
- Writing code for Microcontrollers and processors to control hardware.
- Good knowledge of communication protocols.
- Low level experience with RTOS.

Desirable:
- Previous experience related to Broadcast or Pro AV products.
- Knowledge of audio and video protocols.
