We are seeking an experienced and motivated Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) to join our dynamic team within the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at Fairfield General Hospital.
The UTC plays a vital role in supporting the Emergency Department, delivering high-quality care to patients presenting with a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside doctors, nurse practitioners, advanced clinical practitioners, nursing staff, and support staff.
What We Are Looking For
- An experienced ENP with a strong background in urgent or emergency care
- A forward-thinking, proactive, and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

About The Role
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses
- Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Support the effective flow of patients through the urgent care pathway
- Work closely with the Emergency Department and the Emergency Medicine Ambulatory Service

If you are a knowledgeable and skilled Emergency Nurse Practitioner with significant ENP experience at Band 6 or above, this could be the role for you.
You will hold a recognised Nurse Practitioner qualification (Developing Clinical Skills or equivalent) and demonstrate the clinical expertise required to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
