Senior Employee Benefits Consultant

Join a Chartered status, client-first London Financial Planning firm where Employee Benefits is a genuine strategic growth area.

The Employee Benefits team sits at the heart of our clients business, advising corporates, charities and private organisations across pensions, risk, healthcare, well-being and reward strategy.

They’ve built a market-leading presence within the independent schools sector, partnering with senior leadership teams and trustees on complex pension and benefits challenges.

Due to this strategic growth area, they are now seeking to hire a Senior EB Consultant to take ownership of key relationships, drive growth and help shape the future of the proposition.

The Opportunity

This is more than a consulting role.

You’ll

Own and develop a portfolio of high-value corporate clients Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, governors and trustees Play a key role in expanding the footprint in the independent schools market Influence strategy, proposition development and innovation, including AI-led delivery

What You’ll Be Doing

Client Leadership

Lead advice across corporate pensions, group risk, healthcare & well-being Deliver strategic, forward-thinking recommendations Own governance cycles, renewals, and long-term planning Build deep, trusted client relationships

Growth & Business Development

Generate opportunities via an established client base Win new business through referrals, partnerships and tenders Play a visible role in market positioning and sector growth

Leadership & Influence

Contribute to a high-performance, collaborative culture Help shape and evolve the Employee Benefits proposition

Innovation & Technology

Drive adoption of AI and digital tools Improve reporting, governance, and client communication Identify smarter, more scalable ways of delivering advice

Technical Excellence & Compliance

Deliver compliant, high-quality advice aligned with FCA & Consumer Duty Stay ahead of legislative and market developments Ensure robust documentation and risk management

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in corporate Employee Benefits consulting Strong technical expertise across pensions & wider benefits Track record of winning and growing client relationships Experience advising senior stakeholders, trustees, governors Leadership capability and influence Commercial mindset with a growth orientation

Qualifications

Level 4 Diploma (CII) or above Current SPS Ongoing CPD commitment
